While my work in design and creative direction is structured to answer market objectives, illustration is my most vulnerable, intimate, and human point of visual expression. It is a territory that belongs entirely to me. Aesthetically, it breaks away completely from the polished trends of my other disciplines, here, there is no brief to fulfill or brand to position, only an inner voice demanding to be let out.

In this medium, “ugliness” is simply another brush in my palette, and pure essence is my canvas. What some might interpret as an ambiguous or visually raw aesthetic extravagance, to me, is the very definition of beauty. I am not looking for perfect proportion, but the exact emotion. All my work is deeply autobiographical. Some people keep a diary to make sense of their lives; I have a canvas. Each piece is a visual record of my personal processes, an emotional self-portrait translated into textures and forms.
